This study aims to find out how adolescent’s behavioral factors affect the psychosocial adjustment, and how the behavioral factors found out to be the important domain differ in the effect affecting the psychosocial adjustment. As the method of this study, it was mainly designed to define that the effect affecting the psychosocial adjustment was related to the juvenile behavioral factors. For this, We used the result of questonnaire survey conducted targeting 800 male and female pupils attending classes from 1st to 3rd grades of middle and high schools. In establishing the subject matter of this study, We can define distinguishing the issue of adolescent’s adjustment specifically as behavior. By observing the behaviors in advance, we can prepare the social involvement to prevent the adjustment problem in advance, and the direction of environmental role by which the juveniles may adjust themselves psychosocially was established. In the measurement tools of this study, We used Korean edition of Youth Self Report(K-YSR) for the application of dependent variable. And, for the independent variables, We used the behavioral factors such as the internal-external locus of control scale, measures of depression, measures related to shyness, measure of anger, how territorial is one’s family, how to self-monitor, and measuring self-actualization as measurement tools in 6 areas of sub-domain. As the result of this study, first, in the effect affecting the adjustment of juveniles, the remaining sub-domains excluding the internal-external locus of control scale were affecting significantly, and 40.5% of explanation effect was observed. Secondly, in the differences of the behavioral factors affecting the adolescent’s psychosocial adjustment, they showed themselves in the sequence of the measures of depression representing 30.1%, measures related to shyness and measures of anger 23.7%, how to self-monitor 7.1%, measuring self-actualization 1.5%, and they were significant. However, the internal-external locus of control scale and how territorial is your family were not significant. Accordingly, the behavioral factors only represented the juveniles psychosocial adjustment, and they were found out to be acting as the effective force. Also, except for some behavioral factors, there were differences in the effective force affecting the psychosocial adjustment as a whole. When we see the result of the study as above, we should observe the behavior of the adolescent’s correctly and predict the level of their adjustment. In order for the adolescent’s to adjust to the surrounding environment changing diversified, we should counseling and assist them by comprehending their behavioral factors and psychosocial adjustment.
