국문 초록

본 연구는 학문적으로나 정책적으로 예술관광에 대한 논의가 체계적으로 정립되어 있지 않은 현실적 상황에서, 예술관광이 학계나 현장에서 지역발전을 위한 창조적인 관광모델로 자리매김하는데 필요한 개념과 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 현대미술과 관광이 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있다는 점을 역사적, 철학적, 사회적, 정치․행정적, 경제적, 기술적 관계성 측면에서 고찰함으로써, 예술관광의 학문적 정체성을 탐색하였다. 예술 관광에 필요한 이론적 체계 모형으로서 크게 개념 체계와 방법론 체계를 제시하였다. 개념 체계는 정의 체계, 구성 체계, 유형 체계로 이루어진다. 정의 체계는 시간, 대상, 행태, 특성, 방법, 공간 등 6가지를 구성요소로 하고 있고, 구성 체계는 예술관광자, 예술관광 대상, 예술관광 산업, 예술관광 매개체로 이루어진다. 유형 체계는 예술관광 자원의 주제, 장소, 시대를 포함하는 3차원 분류 체계를 제시하였다. 이로부터 발전된 실용적 접근의 방법론 체계는 추진 체계, 관리 체계, 지원 체계로 이루어진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to present the concepts and methodology necessary to settle the art tourism as one part of the study of tourism under the assumption that the general concepts on art tourism is not yet clearly defined academically and practically. Especially, this study is the result of constant efforts, by observing the relation between modern art and tourism, to seek after an identity of art tourism. Focused on historical, philosophical, social, political, economical, mechanical relationship as a concept system which helps to understand and appreciate art tourism. The theoretical system model of art tourism could be summarized as follows. Firstly, the notion system of art tourism could be classified as six subordinate categories with the standard of time, object, behavior, feature, method and space. Secondly, the structure system of art tourism is established by three constituent elements: art tourists as a subject, an artistic place as an object, and an art tourism industry as a mediator. Thirdly, the type system of art tourism shows three dimensional system: thesis which is practical contents of art tourism resources, place which is essential condition of the resources, and time. Finally, the methodological system of art tourism consists of propelling system, administrating system and supporting system.
