사회복지상담자의 전문적 능력이 사회복지상담 활용에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 날로 수요가 급증하고 있는 사회복지상담이 활성화 되어야할 필요성에 근거하였다. 이를 위해서 사회복지상담이 실천현장에서 어떻게 활용되고 있는지 분석하여 사회복지상담의 발전방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 먼저 문헌고찰을 통하여 사회복지상담의 개념과 차별성 및 특성을 밝혀두었다. 다음은 사회복지실천 현장에서 사회복지상담이 어떻게 활용되고 있는지 분석하기 위하여 사회복지기관에서 실무를 맡고 있는 2년 이상 경력의 사회복지사 499명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 사회복지상담의 활용에는 기관유형 별 사회복지상담의 가치, 지식, 기술에 차이가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 기관의 특성과 클라이언트의 특성에 맞추어 원활하게 역할을 수행할 수 있는 사회복지사의 역량강화 교육과, 사회복지상담의 가치, 지식, 기술에 관한 전문교육이 필요하며, 사회복지상담 매뉴얼의 개발, 보수교육의 차별화 및 전문화, 슈퍼비전의 강화 등의 발전방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study is based on the need to invigorate the Social Work Counseling which is rapidly increasing in demand. For this, the purpose of this study was to explore ways of developing the Social Work Counseling by examining the effects of social worker s professional abilities on utilization of the Social Work Counseling. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 499 social workers with more than two years of experience in social welfare organizations were used for the data analysis. The study has shown that knowledge and skills of a social worker were influenced by the educational background and career, and the type of the organizations that he or she worked for. Based on the results of this study, we have recommended the development plans such as strengthening of the professional education to enhance the professional ability of social workers in consideration of the characteristics of institutions and individuals, development of the Social Work Counseling manual, and differentiation and specialization of the refresher training, and strengthening of supervision.
