영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a tea-culture program aimed at improving adolescent peer relationships and verify its effectiveness. A literature search was conducted beforehand and the motivation of the teenagers to participate in this program was evaluated. It was found that the motivation of the teenagers to participate in the program included the settlement of their emotional scars and improving the empathic understanding of their friend. The program consisted of direct experiences designed to help them acquire emotional stability and improve their etiquette. Based on this, the tea-culture program for teenagers designed to enhance their peer relationships consisted of a total of five sessions, each consisting of 90 minutes (10 minutes for the introduction, 70 minutes for each intervention, and 10 minutes for the teenagers to share their thoughts). Among those surveyed, 31 middle school students agreed to participate in the program and their average age was 13.8 years. The effectiveness of the program was verified by assessing the difference between the pre and post peer quality scores. The study shows that the average scores before and after the program were 25.0 (SD 9.26) and 25.61 (SD.23.236 **), respectively, and the difference between pre and post scores of peer relation quality was 25.61 (3.236 ** **). Namely, the peer relationship of the participants improved significantly after the tea-culture program. Thus, the program is found to be effective for solving the various difficulties of teenagers and enhancing their peer relationship quality. Therefore, it is necessary to continue this program in order to improve the friendship relation communication and emotional stability of adolescents through this peer relationship improvement technique.
