국문 초록

프로야구단에서 관중 수는 각 구단의 인기를 나타내는 지표일 뿐만 아니라 프로야구 발전을 위한 가장 큰수입원이다. 따라서 이 연구는 강팀이지만 매년 적자를 기록하고 있는 SK 프로야구단을 중심으로 문학경기장의 관중 수에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하였다. 종속변수는 관중수로 두고 제한된 여건 속에서 관중 수에 영향을 미치는 이용 가능한 변수들을 독립변수로 두었다. 사사과정에 참여한 수학영재들이 주체가 되어 수행한 연구결과 SK프로야구단의 관중 수에 영향을 미치는 경기 내적 요인은 상대승률, 실점, 순위라이벌 순으로 나타났으며, 경기 외적 요인은 주말과 경기가 실시된 해의 년도 순으로 나타났으며, 경기 종합 요인은 주말, 년도, 상대승률 그리고 실점의 순으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 SK 프로야구단이 관중 유치 전략을 세우고 구단의 수익 개선을 위한 방향을 제시하는 기초자료로 활용될 것을 기대한다.

영문 초록

In pro-baseball teams, attendance is not only an index of popularity but also a source of revenue for development of professional baseball league. From this viewpoint, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the factors affecting attendance at Moon-Hak stadium in SK pro-baseball team, which is strong but recorded in a budget deficit. We supposed that dependent variable is attendance as well as several independent variables which gave an effect on attendance in limited circumstances. From this study based on a mentorship program for mathematics gifted students, the following can be concluded. First, game internal factors which have impact on attendance are performance, runs, and rivals. Second, game external factors related weekends, and years have impacts on attendance. Finally, game synthetic factors such as weekends, years, performance, and runs were found to have significant impact on attendance. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the improvement of financial performance and to work out the strategies for attracting attendance of SK pro-baseball team by providing fundamental information.
