영문 초록

In order to formulate the fostering plans and develop the new ways of living, the status of handling equipment for marine processing in Yosu area and the country from 1991 to 1996 were investigated. There was 57 factories at Yosu area in 1996 for permission-business of marine processing, which was occupied 6.1% of the Jeonnam province and 2.1% of the whole country. Marine processing capacity of Yosu area was 388 T/D, which was 12.3% of the Jeonnam province and 1.9% of the whole country. There was 30 factories at Yosu area in 1996 for frozen and cold storage, which was 4.9% of the Jeonnam province and 28.0% of the whole country. Their processing capacity for freezing, cold storag, ice making, and ice storaging factories were 337 T/D (3.7% of the whole country), 19,503 M/T (1.4%), 474 T/D (6.6%), and 8,056 M/T) (10.7%), respectively. However there was no processing factories for fish and liver oil and for agar-agar. Moreover, there was no processing factory of marine leather, seaweed processing, and marine processing on ship belong to the return-business. There was 27 factories at Yosu area for the other processing of fishery products, which were 16.2% of the Jeonnam province and 2.4% of the whole country. Generally, marine processing equipments of Yosu area was very paltry now, so supplementation of handling equipment should be necessary for the marine processing industry of Yosu area, gradually.
