영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to evaluate child-rearing involvement of fathers with child in early childhood and identify its determinants. This research was conducted with 1,546 data from the forth wave of the Panel Study of Korean Children(PSKC). Independent variables were sociodemographic data, working environment, self-efficacy, value of child, parenting stress and marital satisfaction. Data were analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression. As results, the significant factors affecting father s child-rearing involvement were religion, working hour, emotional value of child, parenting stress and marital satisfaction. Additionary, among those factors, parenting stress was the most powerful predictor for father s child-rearing involvement.
