국문 초록

생활수준이 높아지고 생활에 개성화․다양화가 요구되자 새로움을 추구하여 자신의 고립화를 탈피하려는데 대한 욕구가 커지게 되었다. 이에 따라 자신의 존재를 알리기 위하여 평범하고 흔한 것에서부터 탈피하려는 노력이 진행되어 새로운 스타일 이 만들어지게 되고, 이것이 여러 가지 조건 아래에서 공감대가 형성되면 모방하려는 욕구를 가지게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미래주의 예술양식을 기초한 현대화장의 관점에서 Star Wars 에 표현된 화장을 중심으로 고찰함으로써 미래 지향적 현대화장의 발전을 도모하는 데 그 목적이 있었으며 연구 결과로는 미래주의 양식 화장은 첨단기계 문명의 가속화와 맞물려 기존의 전통방식을 허물고 새로운 사상과 주관적 감각을 바탕으로 진취적인 이미지를 내포하면서 표현되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Nowadays futurism based on de-modernization attempts to predict future rather than considering and focusing on human values. Especially, to develop the ability of the 21st century cultural and scientific measure, it is necessary to change the point of view in a futuristic way. The purpose of this study is to promote the development of futuristic make-up considering make-ups shown on Star Wars in a point of futurism. The theme of this study are as follows. First, consider the establish background and the aesthetic characteristics of futurism through literatures. Second, consider formative characteristic of the modern futuristic make-ups. Third, analyze the fashion trend and make-ups in the movie Star Wars and examine the tendency and characteristics of futuristic image of modern make-ups. The range of the study is since the 1960s when fashion implied scientific technology, and especially focused on the 1990s when various futuristic styles appeared. In conclusion, make-up artists create the futuristic make-up influenced by the new social structure and value system based on the story, style, and the producers vision of future of the film. And it is another collection based on reality of the make-up artist itself. To the make-up artists, future is a space and performance stage to give a full play to one s ability.
