국문 초록

미국 금리 인상 시 신흥시장의 변동성이 확대되고 자본 유출과 통화 가치하락, 외환 시장 변동성이 확대될 것이다. 신흥 시장은 미국 금리 인상에 대비해서 외화 유동성을 확보하고 국가 간 통화 스왑 등 대비책을 마련해야한다. 신흥 국가는 실물 경제 위축에 대비한 전략과 자본 유출에 따른 수입 물가 상승, 외환 시장의 변동성 확대, 파생 금융 상품을 통한 환 위험 관리 등경제 전반에 대한 관리 운영이 필요한 것을 연구를 통해 확인했다.

영문 초록

It was confirmed that the increase in interest rate in the USA expands the volatility of the emerging markets along with the capital outflow from, drop in the currency value and expansion of the volatility in the foreign-exchange market in the emerging markets. Therefore, the emerging markets need to secure foreign currency fluidity and establish measures such as currency swap between countries to cope with the increase in interest rate in the USA. In addition, it was confirmed through the research that management and operation on the overall aspects of the economy including strategy to cope with downturn in the real economy, increase in the import price arising from capital outflow, expansion of the volatility in foreign currency market and foreign exchange risk management through financial derivative products, etc. is needed.
