영문 초록

This study aims to search the problems of Seoul Metropolitan Disaster Information System based on the web information technology, then present the feasibility of ubiquitous IT disaster system. The results of this study are as follows. First, Seoul Metropolitan Disaster Information System is not equipped with cooperat:ive system among disaster agency, so it has difficulty with corporate disaster information management. Second, due to inherent limits of web-based IT, it is impossible to gain real time, accurate spot context informat:ion of disaster hot-zone. Ubiquitous computing networks that combine sensors and actuators with computing and commurucation echnology hold the promise of preventing or at least mitigating the impact of disasters, improving the speed and quality of response & recovery efforts. On the basis of these facts, ubiquitous computing networks will produce a efficiency and effectiveness of the current Seoul Metropolitan Disaster Management system. So, it will be expected that there is an ample possibility for acceptance of Ubiquitous IT in Seoul Metropolitan Disaster Management system.
