영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the growth and locationaI pattem producer service activities in Korean urban system. These issues are of considerable importance in the ongoing debate conceming the inlpact of the tertiarization of the economy on uneven spatial development. I examine the performance and 1α:ation of producer service activities over a set of all Koredan cities with three time series， 1981, 1001 and 2000. Most of these activities are highly concentrated in a metro capital-city area including seoul， Incheon and Kyunggi provinces and their level of concentration increased gradually over the periocl 1981-2000.
