영문 초록

As consouction and expansion of wastewarer treaunent works is concinuing, generaòon oF sludge is increasing. But most sludge is not used appropriately but disposed by landfill dumping to sea. Furthemore direct landfilling of sludge cake containing moisture content over75% has been legally prohicited since 2001 that’s enforcent will be more sttict in 2003. Such a situation means nowadays recycling of organic waste such as sludge and food waste is necessary. Composting is one of recycling methods commolly and used as an effective means of stiauation ofganic waste and then compost can be used as fertilzer. However fertilizer law management which inckude standard of compost products and other fdrtilizers applied all sludge products indiscriminately and was not flexible. So MOE has graded organic composts according to land applications to improve reccle of organic wastes. The chassified organic compost which contains low contamintants has been possible to use as various purpose. This study enalyzed 30 samples which were raw materials for compost and compost produαs management well and qualiry of composr produas. Heavy merals were measured in raw marerials and OM/N, NaCl and VS were tested in compost products as well as heavy merals. As a result， approximare 10% of raw materials was not suirable to the grade A and 6.7% over the grade B of the regulaòol1 011 raw marerials for compost. 1n the case of 30 produced compost propduas approximare, 57% of composts compaoble with the grade A and B of the regulation on composcing produa es of compost produas were worse than raw materials， beacuse the composr produas have more regulation item raw marelials have.
