우리나라 고등교육 수급 불일치 규모 추정

국문 초록

대학 진학의 급증으로 인한 과잉학력의 문제를 보기 위해서 산업에서 필요로 하는 학력의 수준과 내용이 실제 공급과 규모면에서 얼마나 차이가 나는가를 정확하게 추정할 필요가 있다. 직업사전에 정의된 직종별 필요 교육 수준으로 산업에서 필요로 하는 학력별 인력의 규모를 추정하고 이를 실제의 취업자의 학력별 인력 규모와 비교했을 때 2011년 현재 석박사는 88만명, 전문대졸은 43만 정도 과잉인 것으로 추정되었다. 전공 직종의 매트릭스를 작성하고 2011년 기준으로 전공별 대학 졸업자의배출과 직종별 취업자의 증감을 비교하였을 때 대부분의 전공은 졸업자 배출의 규모가 취업자 증가폭보다 훨씬 컸으며 전체적으로 수급 불균형이 심한 것으로 나타났다. 과잉학력의 문제 해결을 위해 교육 정상화의 개혁과 전공직종 취업률의공시제도 구축이 필요하다.

영문 초록

In Korea, it is conjectured that there are much more higher education graduates than needed by industry. This article has figured out how big is the discrepancy between demand and supply of higher education graduates. This article has estimated the size of oversupply of higher education graduates by using the information of necessary education in the occupations in dictionary of occupational titles. The results reports that master and doctor degree holdess were oversupplied 880,000 more than necessary scale, junior college graduates were oversupplied 430,000 more than necessary scale in 2011. When this article compared the graduate's number with the increment of worker's number in 2011 along with the matrix for occupation major, then the results said that in general the graduates' number of some major usually outnumbered over the increment of the right matching occupation worker's number and the unbalance between major and occupation is large enough.
