영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of major factors to marriage satisfaction. The survey polled 200 immigrant women in mid-north province, 143 of which were chosen for analysis. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis by a statistical package, PASW 19.0 and AMOS21.0 were used to analyze each variable. The followings are the results of statistical analyses. The higher-aged immigrant Muslim women are cognitive of ‘discrimination against foreign’ and ‘cultural difference.’ Immigrant Muslim women who acquired South Korean nationality are less cognitive of ‘cultural difference,’ but immigrant Muslim women living with their families are highly cognitive of ‘cultural difference.’ This study found a high correlation between ‘bicultural adjustment’ and ‘marriage satisfaction.’ An important factor that could affect lower-aged women expatriates’ marriage satisfaction is also ‘cross-cultural adjustment’ and ‘family conflict.’ However, socio-demographic characteristics such as economic level, length of residence effect less on ‘marriage satisfaction.’
