국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 협성대학교 학생의 자아실현과 창의성 함양을 위한 융복합 교육과정을 개발하는 것이다. 교육은 한 개인에게 내재된 잠재력을 발견하고 이를 실현할 수 있도록 돕는 모든 작용이어야 하며, 인간의 자아실현이 일련의 창의적인 활동과 밀접하게 관련되어있다는 내용의 선행연구결과들을 검토하여 교육과정에 반영하였다. 또한 인간의 삶은 융복합적 과정의 산물이며 융복합적 지식의 구성 경험은 창의적 문제해결력 발휘에 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라 개인의 삶에 대한 총체적 이해를 가능하게 함으로써 자아실현의 길을 찾는데 도움이 된다는 선행연구 결과들도 반영하였다. 연구결과 총 13개의 융복합 교과목을 개발하였으며, 각 3시간 3학점으로 편성하고 개별 교과목들에 대한 내용과 이수체계, 그리고 효과적인 운영방안을 제시하였다. 융합형ㆍ창의적 인재 양성에 대한 사회적 요구에 부응하기 위하여 개발한 본 교육과정이 협성대학교의 교육목적인 GPS형 인재 양성에 기여함과 더불어 수강생들을 장차 자아실현의 길로 안내할 수 있게 되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This research has been undertaken to develop a 'curriculum for convergence education aimed at guiding self-actualization and enhancing creativity' for the students of Hyupsung University. Extant research reviewed includes those supporting a view that education ought to be the entire process of discovering the inherent potential of a learner and helping him or her actualize it; the research focusing on the close relation between self-actualization and creative activities; and the research highlighting the convergent aspect of human life, affirming that the convergent experience of knowledge construction not only helps improve creative problem solving, but also aids a learner to recognize the path for self-actualization by enabling the learner to reach a wholistic understanding of his or her life. The research has yielded 13 convergence curricula, all 3 credit-hour courses, constituting course contents, completion standards, and the method for effective management. Application of the developed curricula to college education is expected to create the following effects: higher learning can cope actively with the social demands for raising the creative, convergent human talents; the curriculum can lead students to the path toward self-actualization and fulfilling life by strengthening the 'GPS-type human resource development' laid out by the educational goal of Hyupsung University.
