영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of variables related to academic achievement, namely major satisfaction and degree of academic participation, to the career decision efficacy of college students majoring in food styling. A total of 171 food styling majors completed surveys to achieve the purpose of this study. Major satisfaction, degree of academic participation and career decision efficacy level tests were implemented against those 171 students. The analysis showed the following findings. First, there are significant correlations among major satisfaction, degree of academic participation and career decision efficacy. Second, this study suggests that it is necessary to devise a scheme to maximize major satisfaction for higher degree of academic participation since the major satisfaction of food styling major students has a decisive effect on the degree of academic participation. Third, the degree of academic participation of food styling students has a decisive effect on the career decision efficacy. Fourth, since the major satisfaction of food styling majors has an effect on the career decision efficacy, it is necessary to develop the career guidance program for the college students that will maximize their career decision efficacy.
