영문 초록

Most of the older people in modern society are experiencing of the problems of rolo-lossness. The aged want to maintain some roles and social interactions which they had in the past, but it is very difficult to continue at the present social structure. Although many of the older people ar participating activities in the Senior. Center, elderly club and aged school, there are not sufficient programs to satisfy their needs of leisure. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the development of leisure policy and programs for the aged. In this paper, we will deal with (1) definition and concept of liesure, (2) the analysis of leisure pattern in the family and community, (4) living arrangment and leisure pattern, (5) facilities and programs which are available at the present, and (6) the analysis of current leisure policies. In conclusion, we suggest that (1) leisure programs for the aged shall be developed according to the various social facts such as, the age, sex, living standard, educational level, health status and hobby, (2) government and society should understand current situation for the aged who are suffering from role-lossness and boredom, and make all possible efforts to develop leisure policies and programs to sove the problem.
