국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화사회에 대한 지원대책이 결혼이민자들의 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써 결혼이민자 및 다문화가족의 중장기 지원대책 방향을 정립함을 목적으로 한다. 이에 본 연구는 결혼이민자 여성을 대상으로 생활만족도에 미치는 영향요인을 검토하고 그 가설적 인과관계를 분석하였다. 분석의 결과, 결혼이민자 여성의 생활만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 것은 다문화사회 관련 각종 사회조직(민간조직)의 활동이 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, 정부정책 및 민간활동의 단기적인 성과로 나타난 한국사회에서의 변화요인은 아직까지 큰 영향을 미치고 있지 못한다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면 정부수준에서 이루어지고 있는 각종 다문화 사회 지원대책과 사업들은 민간조직 및 사회변화 요인에는 영향을 미치고 있었으나, 결혼이민자들의 생활만족도와는 직접적 인과관계가 없음을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study aims to determine the direction of mid-term and long-term supporting measures for marriage migrants and multicultural families by analyzing the effect of multicultural society supporting measures on the life satisfaction of marriage migrants. To this end, the study examined the factors that may affect the life satisfaction among female marriage migrants, and analyzed the hypothetical causal relationship. As a result of the analysis, it turned out that the factor that would affect the life satisfaction of female marriage migrants most was various social organizations(private entities) related to multicultural society, and that the effect of governmental policies and private activities was insignificant in the short run. It turned out that various government-led multicultural society supporting measures and projects affected private entities and factors that would bring in social changes although they were in no direct relation to the life satisfaction of marriage migrants.
