국문 초록

본 연구는 지적장애학생의 자립생활 적응능력과 중등특수교육의 궁극적인 성과를 향상시키기 위한 측면에서, 전환교육의 원리와 내용 및 방법을 통하여 지적장애학생의 중등특수교육 교과교육의 교재를 개발하였다. 이를 위해, 본 연구는 전환교육의 한 가지 구성요소인 지역사회참조교수를 중등특수교육 교과 교재에 반영하고자 하였다. 본 연구가 특별히 지역사회참조교수에 초점을 둔 것은 교과교육 교재가 주로 학교의 교실 장면에서 적용된다는 점을 감안하여, 지역사회중심교수가 다소 일선 특수교육현장의 교사로 하여금 부담이나 어려움으로 작용할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 교과 교재를 개발하기 위하여, 가장 먼저 이론적인 원리 내용으로 구성된 중등특수교육 교과교육의 내용 요소들을 지적장애학생의 실제 자립 목표기술로 보완하여 교과 수업주제 및 학습목표를 구안한 선행연구의 결과를 도입하였다. 도입된 교과학습목표를 실제 학교의 교실 장면에서 적용할 수 있는 교재를 경도 지적장애학생에 근거하여 구성하였다. 본 연구는 지역사회참조교수의 중재 구성준거를 여러 유형의 통합 패키지로 활용하여, 그 결과를 구체적인 지도절차 및 방법으로 해석하여 총 9장의 교과 교재를 구성하였다. 이와 같은 통합 패키지는 교과 학습목표에 대한 세부적인 학습목표를 제시해 주어, 지적장애학생이 교과 학습목표를 다양한 방법과 맥락으로 습득할 수 있는 여러 장의 교재 구성을 촉진했고, 각각의 교재들은 상호간 비계(scaffoldings) 역할을 통해 지적장애학생이 학습 과제를 체계적인 수준ㆍ단계별 과정으로 습득할 수 있는 이점을 가졌다. 또한, 통합 패키지 활용에 근거한 본 연구의 교재는 지역사회참조교수가 지역사회중심교수로 자연스럽게 연계될 수 있다는 가능성도 확인되었다.

영문 초록

This study developed teaching materials for the subject matter education of students with intellectual disabilities at the secondary special education level through the principles, contents and methods of transition education in order to improve the adaptive independent living skills of students with intellectual disabilities and the ultimate outcomes of secondary special education. In this regard, this study reflected community-referenced instruction, a component of transition education, in curriculum materials at the secondary special education level. The main reason that this study focused on community-referenced instruction was that community-based instruction might be applied to teachers in the special education field as a burden or difficulty, considering that teaching materials for subject matter education were mainly applied to school classroom scenes. Above all, the content elements of subject-matter education composed of contents based on theoretical principles at the secondary special education level were supplemented with the technologies for the actual independence of students with intellectual disabilities and the results of previous studies which had planned the subjects and learning objectives of subject matter education in order to develop curriculum materials. The learning objectives of the introduced curriculum were prepared with the teaching materials which could be applied the actual school classroom scenes based on students with mild intellectual disabilities. The arbitrary standards of community-referenced instruction were utilized as many types of integrated packages. The results were interpreted as the detailed guidance procedures and methods to prepare curriculum materials composed of ten chapters. As the specific learning objectives of subject learning objectives were presented these integrated packages, several chapters of teaching materials which students with intellectual disabilities could learn the objectives of subject learning through many different methods and contexts were prepared. Each teaching material had an advantage that students with intellectual disabilities could gradually learn learning subjects at the systematic level and phase through the roles of mutual scaffoldings. Moreover, as a result of this study, the possibility that community-referenced instruction could naturally be connected to community- based instruction was identified in the teaching materials based on the application of integrated packages.
