국문 초록

이 연구는 중학교 교사의 다문화 인식이 다문화 효능감에 미치는 영향 관계를 알아보는 것이며, 이를 위해 중학교 교사의 다문화 인식 및 효능감에 대한 지각의 차이, 다문화 인식과 다문화 효능감 간의 상관관계, 다문화 인식이 다문화 효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 지역의 중학교 교사 223명이었으며, 다문화 인식과 다문화 효능감에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 구체적인 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학교 교사의 다문화가정 자녀 지도경험별 및 다문화교육을 받은 횟수별에 따른 다문화 인식은 다문화 인식 전체, 개방성, 수용성 및 존중성 영역에서 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 다문화교육을 받은 횟수별에 따른 다문화 효능감은 다문화 효능감 전체, 일반기능, 다문화가정 배려에서 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중학교 교사의 다문화 인식의 하위영역과 다문화 효능감의 하위영역들 간의 상관관계 분석에서는 모두 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 셋째, 중학교 교사의 다문화 인식이 다문화 효능감에 미치는 영향 분석에서는 다문화 인식이 다문화 효능감의 하위영역인 일반기능, 수업기능, 인간관계 증진 및 다문화가정 배려 영역 모두에서 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This research is to find the impact of multicultural awareness of middle school teachers to multicultural efficacy. For this, awareness of multicultures of middle school teachers, differences of their recognitions on efficacy, and impact to multicultural efficacy from multicultural awareness were analyzed. This research targeted to 223 middle school teachers in GyoungGi area, and conducted a survey on awareness and efficacy of multicultures. Specific conclusions of the research are as follows. First, middle school teachers' multicultural awareness through instructional experiences on children from multicultural family and through numbers of educations about multicultures has significant differences among groups around total of multicultural awareness, openness, acceptance and respectation. For the multicultural efficacy by numbers of education for multicultures, there was a significant difference among groups around the total multicultural efficacy, general functions and thoughtfulness of multicultural families. Second, through the analysis of relations between subclassified areas of multicultural awareness and efficacy of middle school teachers, there were all statistical significant correlations. That is, the area of open, acceptance and respectation of multicultural awareness of middle school teachers has significant correlations with area of general function, instructional function, promoting relations between individuals, and thoughtfulness of multicultural families in multicultural efficacy. Third, in the analysis of impacts on multicultural awareness of middle school teachers to multicultural efficacy, multicultural awareness has statistically significant efficacy in general functions, instructional functions, promoting relations between individuals, thoughtfulness of multicultural families which are subclassified in multicultural efficacy.
