자긍심과 자아탄력성 증진 집단상담이 초등학생의 비행 성향에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 아동의 비행 성향이 자긍심과 자아탄력성과 관련이 있는지를 검증하고 이를 증진시키기 위한 집단상담 프로그램의 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울시내 초등학교 5-6학년 109명이었다. 실험집단의 아동은 남자 31명, 여자 23명이었다. 통제집단은 남자 30명, 여자 25명이었다. 연구에 사용된 도구는 자아존중감 점수, 자아탄력성 척도 점수, 비행척도 점수를 사용하였다. 자긍심 증진 프로그램은 Palomares(1991)가 개발한 자아존중감 증진을 위한 활동 프로그램을 조원성(1996)이 번안하여 수정한 프로그램을 기초로 연구자가 보완하여 사용하였다. 연구결과 자긍심과 자아탄력성 및 비행 성향 간에는 유의한 부적 상관이 있는것으로 나타났다. 그러나 비행 성향에 대한 예언력은 자아탄력성만 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 자긍심과 자아탄력성을 증진시키고자 하는 집단상담 프로그램이 비행 성향을 감소시키는데 효과적임을 확인해 주었다. 비행 성향이 비행 행동으로 발전하기 전에 예방적인 차원에서 이러한 집단상담 프로그램을 실시한다면 학교 폭력이나 학교 부적응 아동에게 매우 유용할 것임을 시사해 주었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationships among theself-esteem, ego resilience and delinquent tendencies of primary schoolstudents. The summaries of this study are as follows: First, there were significant correlations among the self-esteem, egoresilience and delinquent tendencies. Second, the results of multiple regression shows that ego resilience hassignificant explanability(R2=14%) for the delinquent tendencies, butself-esteem did not achieve the significant level. The results of post scores of ego resilience reached the significantlevel((R2=8%) of prediction to delinquent tendencies after finishing the groupcounseling program. Third, there were significant interaction effect of group by periods in thevariable of self-esteem after finishing program. Fourth, the interaction effect of group by periods in ego resilience revealedsignificant. The score of experimental group varied significantly between preand post periods, t(53)=-15.00, p<.001. Fifth, the interaction effect of group by periods in delinquent tendenciesshows significant level, t(53)=8.40, p<.001. It suggested that the group counseling program would be effective toprevent the acting out of children's delinquent tendencies in school and homeenvironments.
