영문 초록

Purpose: This study was performed to identify how personal factors affecting the degree of collaboration in the disciplinary teams (nurse teams and social worker teams) who render care among poor elders with illnesses in a community-based program. Methods: Adescriptive, cross-sectional design was utilized for data collection in public community healthcare and social welfare centers in five provinces with the use of five instruments. The sample composed of 80 teams having 40 full-time home visiting nurses and 40 social workers. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze data. Results: Among personal factors, belief in the benefits, and total perception toward other professionals influenced the degree of collaboration. Conclusion: The findings of this research could improve our understanding on the degree of collaboration. Furthermore, data about the significant factors improving the degree of collaboration will assist healthcare providers to develop effective strategies to enhance their collaboration.
