국문 초록

이 논문은 다문화가족지원센터의 프로그램인 결혼이주여성들의 문화적응 프로그램에 관한연구이다. 본 연구는 행동적, 정서적, 인지적 문화적응의 관점에서 결혼이주여성의 문화적응을 위한 다문화가족지원센터의 프로그램을 살펴보고자 한다. 연구방법은 인터뷰를 통한 질적 연구방법이 사용되었다. 연구를 통해 남구다문화가족지원센터에 등록되어있는 결혼이주 여성의 가장 큰 공통점은 경제적인 생활고가 크다는 것이다. 그리고 문화적응을 위해 한국어를 우선적으로 교육하고, 그 다음 경제 문제를 해결하기 위하여 취‧창업에 동일한 비중을 두고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 기존의 문화적응 프로그램 활성화 방안을 찾기 위해서는 우선적으로 결혼이주여성들의 근본적인 문제 해결에 초점을 두어야 한다. 이러한 관점을 통해 3가지 방안이 연구결과로서 도출되었다. 첫째, 취업매개자 양성 프로그램을 도입하는 것이다. 둘째, 자녀 양육을 위한 복지시설 강화이다. 셋째, 다문화가족지원센터와 건강가정지원센터의 기능을 보다 더 차별화하고 개선해야 하는 것이다.

영문 초록

This research discusses the cultural adjustment program of Multicultural Family Support Centers. The study is largely divided into two focal points: first, cultural adaptation of the immigrant women from behavioral, emotional, and cognitive perspectives; second, in-depth outlook on multicultural policy and Multicultural Family Support Centers. Qualitative research methods including personal interviews were used. Research has found that immigrant women that were currently enrolled at Nam-Gu Family Support Center were faced with substantial lack of economic opportunities. Furthermore, the center primarily focused on teaching Korean language and culture for smooth cultural adaptation, followed by giving guidance on employment and entrepreneurship for economic adjustment. Therefore, in order to revitalize the present cultural adaptation programs, primary focus has to be set on solving the fundamental issues faced by immigrant women. Three recommendations are presented based on the research. First, implement employee training programs. Second, strengthen welfare programs for stable parenting. Third, enhance and differentiate benefits of Multicultural Family Support Centers and Health and Family Support Centers. This study, however, should be considered as a primary research.
