국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한국과 핀란드의 수학 교과서에서 다문화관련 삽화 및 이름, 문제 속 그림을 중심으로 다문화관련내용을 분석하여 보다 효과적인 다문화 교육에 일조를 하는데 있다. 교과부는 2006년 12월 다문화 관련 교과 교육과정 시안 연구 개발을 발표하였으며, 2007개정 교육과정에 다문화 관련 내용을 삽입하고자 하였다. 따라서 새 교육과정에 다문화 관련 내용이 얼마나 반영 되었는지를 살펴보는 일은 중요한 일이며 수학교과서도 예외 일수 없다. 이에 교육 선진국이며 다문화 교육 정책을 앞서 실천하고 있는 핀란드 초등학교 수학교과서와 비교하여 한국 수학교과서의 다문화적 내용 분포 정도를 파악하고자 한다. 한국정부와 핀란드정부의 수학 교육과 다문화정책에는 차이가 많다. 지리 경제적 여건과 문화적 환경 등이 다르기에 당연하게 받아들일 수 있다. 하지만 수학 교과서에 제시된 삽화에서 다문화적 관련 요소에 현격한 차이가 있는 점은 고려해 볼 필요가 있다. 한국 수학교과서 삽화에서는 외국계 학생이라고 여겨지는 경우가 거의 없는데 반해 핀란드 교과서에서는 다문화 학생이 함께 어우러지는 삽화가 많으며, 한국인 아이의 이름까지 제시될 정도로 이름도 범세계적이다. 또한 수학문제 속에서도 다문화교육을 지향하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 생활경험 중심의 교육이 많이 거론되며 통합교육을 지향하고 있는 시점에서 교과서에 다문화적 내용이 많이 제시되어야한다. 수학교과서에서도 다문화적 내용의 문제를 접하며 다문화 학생들의 이름이 등장하고 다문화 학생들과 함께 공부하고 놀이하는 모습이 많이 제공될 때 비로소 다문화정책의 실효성에 좀 더 다가갈 수 있게 됨을 시사하는 바다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study in mathematics textbooks in South Korea and Finland multicultural illustration and name, the problems by analyzing the multicultural more effective multicultural education is to help. Since announcing the development of multicultural education curriculum in December 2006, the Minstry of Education has decided to insert a great of multicultural contents in 2007 revised national curriculum. Therefore, It is very important that new curriculum has been reflected in the multicultural look at how much information. Math textbooks can never be an exception. The Korea mathematics textbooks is compared with the Finnish that education and multicultural education policies developed to practice, Cross-cultural comparison of to determine the extent of the distribution of information. There is a lot of difference mathematics education & the multicultural policies of the government in South Korea and Finland. As geographical and economic conditions and cultural environment is different. But in mathematics textbooks illustrated striking differences in cross-cultural-related factors is necessary to consider the point. In mathematics textbook illustrations Korea is considered unlikely that foreign students do not. But Finnish textbook illustrations often come together in the multicultural student and Koreans presented to the child's name is enough to name the world. Multicultural information is presented with math problems. The current is discussed a lot of life experiences and inclusive Education, a lot of multicultural content in the textbooks should be provided. If it will contact with the problem of multicultural content, Multicultural students' names appear and students study to play with multicultural content in Mathematics textbooks, then the effect of multicultural policies will receive more.
