국문 초록

장애학생에게 스스로에 대한 인식과 권리지식을 포함한 자기옹호 기술 지도의 중요성이 강조되는 시점에서 본 연구는 스크립트를 이용한 자기옹호 교수가 초등학교 경도지적장애학생의 자기지식과 권리지식에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 충청북도 E군 G초동학교 6학년 경도지적장애학생 3명으로 대상자간 중다 간헐 기초선 설계(multiple probe design subjects)를 실시하였고, 스크립트를 적용한 역할극을 활용하여 기초선, 중재, 유지 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대상 학생들의 자기지식(감정 인식, 선호, 장ㆍ단점 인식, 장애 인식)과 권리지식(요청하기, 주장하기, 거절하기, 괴롭힘 대처)이 향상되었다 연구 결과를 바탕으로 경도지적장애학생들의 자기지식과 권리지식 향상을 위한 자기옹호 교수의 적용 방향과 교육 현장 및 후속 연구를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Self-advocacy skill including know ledge of self and knowledge of right is an essential skill for all students to have control of their lives and to make right decision. This study examined the effects of self-advocacy instruction through scripts on knowledge of self and knowledge of right for elementary school students with mild intellectual disability. The participants of this study were 3 six graders with mild intellectual disability of G elementary school in E-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. The multiple probe baseline design across subjects had been used as an experimental design in the study. Basic line, intervention, maintenance tests were performed as checklists utilizing a role play for evaluation. The results of this study showed that the self-advocacy instruction through scripts was effective to the improvement of knowledge of self and knowledge of right of the participants. Implications of the results with regard to self-advocacy program for students with mild intellectual disability were discussed.
