체육대학 예절교육에 관한 체육전공 대학생들의 긍정적, 부정적 인식분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 체육대학 예절교육에 관한 체육전공 대학생들의 긍정, 부정적 인식을 파악하는데 있었다. 연구대상으로 한국대학교(가명) 체육대학에 재학 중인 학생들 중 714명이 설문작성을 하였고 최종 696명의 자료가 분석에 이용되었다. Flanagan의 주요사건기록지를 이용해 남녀학생의 인식을 분석한 결과 예절교육에 대한 남녀 간의 인식 차는 크게 다르지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 예절교육의 긍정적인 측면을 학년별로 분석한 결과, ‘단합, 동기애 함양’, '기본적 예절 습득‘과 '위계질서 확립’의 순으로 나타났다. 예절교육의 부정적인 측면을 밝힌 학년별 분석에 의하면 1학년의 경우 ‘신체, 정신적 피로와 압박, ‘강압적 분위기’와 ‘비인격적 대우가 압도적으로 많이 보고되었다. 4학년의 경우에는 ‘본 취지와 다르게 실시’, ‘강압적 분위기’, ‘신체, 정신적 피로와 압박’, ‘없다’, ‘비인격적 대우’ 순으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 체육대학 내의 형식과 상하관계를 중시하는 문화가 존재하고 있으며 예절교육이 본연의 목적이나 취지와 다르게 실시되고 있음을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the positive and negative perspectives on ethic instruction of Physical Education, based on student’s perception. Participants for the study were 714 Physical Education Students and total 696 questionnaires out of 714 were uesd for the data analysis. The critical incident report was used to collect the data. The results of the study indicated that there were not much gap between male and female perspectives. With regard to the positive perspective, as an important factor, ‘cooperation’, ‘brotherly affection’, ‘basic etiquette’, and ‘respecting authority’ were turned up in order. In respect of the negative perspective, on the freshman basis, bad experiences were overwhelmingly high in three aspects: ’pressure on body and mind’, ‘imperative mood’, and ‘inhumanity’. In respect of the negative perspective, on the senior basis, ‘implementing another instruction unlike ethic instruction’, ‘imperative mood’, ‘pressure on body and mind’, ‘nothing’, and ‘inhumanity’ were turned up in order. The results of this study indicate that there are ceremonialism and authority existed in the Physical Education College. In addition, the ethic instruction has been conducting differently from the original purpose.
