영문 초록

In general, the holistic education has based its tradition on oriental ideas and the Smuts’ holism. However, the latter has not been dealt with in recent researches in Korea. The purpose of this article focuses on the identification of the implications of the Smuts’ ecological perspective. Another main point is to implement the holistic perspectives into English Language Teaching through investigating the ELT syllabuses, in particular the proces syllabus. In this paper, I suggest the relationships of ecological perspectives and the perspectives of process syllabus.
