청소년 범죄의 환경적 요인과 개선방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록

해마다 급증하고 있는 청소년 범죄의 원인을 분석함에 있어서 개인적 소질과 환경이 동시에 고려되어야 하겠찌만 청소년 범죄에 대한 예방과 처방이라는 관점에서는 환경적 요인에 대한 분석과 이에 대한 대책이 중요시될 수 있다. 청소년 범죄가 환경적 요인에 의해서 영향을 받을 수 있는 경우로서는 크게 가정과 학교, 사회 환경의 3가지 범주에서 고려해볼 수 있다. 최근의 청소년 범죄 실태를 분석해본 결과, 청소년 범죄에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 가정 환경적 요인으로서는 주로 빈곤 및 결손가정, 부모갈등, 부적절한 교육등으로 나타났으며, 사회 환경적 요인으로는 불량교우관계, 입시 위주의 교육환경, 학교폭력, 집단 따돌림, 중도 퇴학자의 증가 등으로 분석되었따. 또한 사회 환경적 요인으로는 유해환경의 만연, 상업적 이익을 추구하는 어른들의 그릇된 인식과 청소년 보호에 대한 낮은 의식수준 등으로 나타났다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 가정과 학교, 사회 환경에 있어서 보다 실질적이고 근본적인 대책이 필요하며, 이에 몇 가지 개선방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

While it is obvious that both individual traits and environmental influences need to be considered in the analysis of the ever-increasing adolescent crime rate, analysis of the environmental influences that contribute to adolescent crime should be more important in its prevention and treatment. In general, three categories constitute "environmental influences" : the home, the school, and the greater social environment. Analysis of the most recent incidents of adolescent crime revealed that the factors contributing to the commitment of a crime stemming from the household were poverty, missing parents, conflict between parents, and poor education. In addition, the factors stemming from the school were participation in gangs, and admissions-focused school education, in-school violence, isloation from classmates, and the increase in drop-outs. Factors stemming from the greater social environment included the pervasion of harmful environments, the profit-oriented mindset of adults, and a low awareness of adolescent protection issues. Realistic and fundamental improvements in the home, school, and the greater social environment should be made, and here we offer some improvement methods.
