국문 초록

통합교육과정은 새로운 지식 창출, 인간의 전인적 발달 도모, 일상생활에서 사용할 수 있는 지식 습득으로 인하여 영재교육에서도 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 영재통합 교육과정 모형 개발을 위해 이론적으로 통합교육과정의 개념을 알아보고, 통합교육과정의 유형을 통합접근 방법, 통합 형태, 통합학습 요소, 학문관련 방식에 따라 나누어 살펴보았다. 그리고 영재통합교육과정 모형 개발을 위한 기초 작업으로 선행조건과 일반교육과정의 수정을 알아보았다. 그런 다음 기존의 영재교육과정 모형과 Van Tassel-Baska의 통합교육과정 모형을 살펴 본 뒤 교육과정 모형의 체제에 맞추어 목표, 구성 원칙, 내용, 평가를 알아보았다. 영재통합교육과정 모형의 목표는 인지적, 정의적, 사회적, 심미적인 측면과 함께 학습의 내용, 과정, 산출 등 모든 내용을 통합할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 구성 원칙으로 통합성은 지식의 관계성을 파악하고, 학습과 인격의 통합에 연결시켜야 하며 계열성은 교과서의 순서, 교사의 선호, 학문의 구조, 학습자의 흥미, 학습의 위계, 학습자의 발달을 고려해야 한다. 다음으로 내용 중 속진은 교과 요소를 통합하는 양적 접근과 요소들을 재조직하는 질적 접근이 함께 이루어져야 하며 심화는 심리적․기능적 통합으로 실제 경험적인 활동과 어떻게 통합할 것인가에 초점을 맞추어야 한다. 마지막으로 평가는 학생의 수준에 맞는 교육과정을 제공하고, 다음 단계의 학습과 피드백을 제공하기 위해 통합교육과정의 내용, 과정, 산출로 나누어 살펴보았다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted under 3 purposes. First, to review the concept and styles of the integrated curriculum. Second, to find prerequisites for developing integrated curriculum for gifted and matters to be modified in general curriculum. Third, to review the general curriculum for gifted and the integrated curriculum by VanTassel-Baska then to find goals, principles of structure, contents and assessments for developing new integrated curriculum for gifted. As a result, the definition of integrated curriculum was suggested as that is a processing of organize or relate educational experiences or knowledges. Thus, styles of integrated curriculum was classified as approaches of integrated curriculum, forms of integration, learning elements for integration, ways of academic-related. Also the prerequisites for developing integrated curriculum for gifted were suggested as follows; set the goals and documented curriculum plan, needs assessment, systematical and financial support, and ready for expected numbers of registration. In modification of General curriculum for developing integrated curriculum for gifted were suggested as follows; contents modification, process modification, environment modification and product modification. Based on these, the goals of new model of integrated curriculum for gifted suppose to be integrated with learning contents, process and product as well as cognitive, definitive, social and aesthetic. Above that, the principles for structure were suggested as integration and sequence. The integration should be realize relations with utmost knowledges which are changing by social context, then verification procedures need to be related to integration of learning and personality of learner. The sequence should be concerned about order of subjects, teacher preference, structure of study, learner's interests, hierarchy of learning and development of learner. The contents are divided into acceleration and enrichment. The acceleration aims to placement for above-grade level and credit load. The enrichment refers that activities which expanding depth and areas of particular contents. Finally, the assessment was considered into external factors (teacher, student, environment) and internal factors (validity, appropriateness, relevance, flexibility, practicality), content, process, and product to provide proper curriculum for level of learners, and learning for next level and feedback.
