조직간 정보교류와 조직간 관계유형 구분의 틀

국문 초록

  본 연구는 조직간 관계(inter-organizational relationships) 유형들을 구분하는데 이용할 수 있는 기본 틀(framework)을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서는 관련 기업들 간에 교류되는 정보유형을 크게 ‘경영정보’와 ‘거래정보’로 분류하였다. 그리고 전통적인 정보교환 매체와 조직간 정보망(inter-organizational information systems)이 관련 기업들 간의 정보교류에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과, 조직간 정보망이 전통적인 정보교환 매체에 비해 경영정보와 거래정보의 교류 정도에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 정보교류 정도가 생산성과 각각의 차원에 미치는 영향도 분석하였다. 분석결과, 교류되는 경영정보와 거래정보가 생산성과의 각기 다른 차원에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 관련 기업들 간에 경영정보와 거래정보가 교류되는 정도와 조직간 정보망과 전통적인 정보교환 매체가 이용되는 정도에 따라 조직간 관계 유형을 4가지로 구분하였다. 4가지 유형들은 전통적 시장관계, 전략적 제휴관계, 전자적 협력관계와 가상 조직군이다. 그리고 표본기업들을 이용하여 4가지 조직간 관계유형이 나타날 수 있음을 입증하였다.

영문 초록

  This study has developed a framework that can identify types of inter-organizational relationships. In this study, various kinds of information exchanged between trading partners were grouped into two broad types of information: Transaction information and management information. This study examined the effects of inter-organizational information systems (IOSs) and traditional communication media (TCM) on the amount of information exchanged. The results of stepwise regression analyses show that the usage of IOSs is the first significant factor that influences the exchange of transaction information as well as management information. In examining the impact of the information exchanged on the dimensions of production performance, the results of this study suggest that different kinds of information seem to influence different dimensions of production performance. According to both the usage level of IOSs or TCM and the types of information exchanged, four forms of inter-organizational relationships and their particular characteristics are represented. The four types are; traditional links for coordination, strategic alliances, electronic partnerships and virtual organizations.
