국문 초록

  해방 이후 한국의 대학입시제도는 거의 매년 변화해 왔다. 대학입시제도가 우리 교육에서 차지하는 비중이 그만큼 크기 때문이다. 실제 대학입시제도는 정권 교체와 맞물려 집중적으로 변화했으며 정치사회적으로 큰 관심사였다. 대학입시제도의 중요성에 불구하고 그에 대한 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 대부분의 연구는 특정 시기에 국한되었으며 그나마 최근의 대학입시제도에 초점을 두고있다. 이런 연구 경향은 특정 시기의 대학입시제도의 특징에 대한 설명력을 높일 수 있으나, 해방이후 대학입시제도 변천의 역사적 맥락을 이해하는데 많은 한계를 보일 수밖에 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국 대학입시제도의 사회사적 변천과 특징을 중심으로 그 전개 과정을 분석하였다. 대학입시제도 변천에 따른 역사적 연결 고리의 설명력을 높여, 대학입시제도를 통합적으로 이해하고 유의미한 교육적 시사점을 얻고자 하였다.

영문 초록

  The university entrance system of Korea has been changed almost every year since 1945. The system in our education have assumed massive proportions. The system actually has coincided with the government change and been a matter of interest politically and socially. Despite its significance, the study on the system is insufficient as the case stands. The most study has focused on the particular period or even so the late system. This study trend has raised the explanation power of the system in the particular period, but has also many limitation in understanding the historical change process of the system. Accordingly, in the study, the development process of the university entrance system was analyzed focused on the change and feature of the system. The main purpose of the study was in understanding the system totally by raising the explanation power of the historical connection according to the change of the system and getting the significant educational suggestions.
