영문 초록

  The objective structured clinical examination(OSCE) has been recently introduced in the various korean medical schools to evaluate clinical competence in the psychiatry setting. This study attempts to provide the data for the objective structured clinical examination(OSCE) in the psychiatric mental health nursing.
  The core skills and knowledge on the therapeutic relationship are required in the clinical practice of psychiatric and mental health nursing. Specially, the information about an efficient manner to developing therapeutic relationship between patients and nurses are very important. Interviewing strategies for the barriers about the therapeutic relationship also had to be concerned.
  So, I will suggest the essential minimum sets for the OSCE tools in the clinical practice of psychiatric mental health nursing and try to develop the OSCE scenario on the therapeutic communication skills with the anxious and depressed patient.
