국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 기업들이 지적자본(IC)을 관리하기 위한 도구로써, 지적자본 구성요인들간의 관계를 살펴보는 데 있다. 일회성이 아닌 시간의 흐름에 따른 지적자본의 변화를 확인하고 예측할 수 있는 기반구축과 아울러 지적자본 측정모형을 설계하고 활용하는데 있어 유용한 활용적 기초를 제공함에 있는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 수행하기 위하여 하이테크기업인 S기업의 종업원(187명)을 대상으로 진행하였다. 선행연구들을 기초로 하여 지적자본을 인적자본, 구조적자본, 혁신자본, 그리고 고객자본으로 분류하고, 구조적자본 및 혁신자본을 인적자본과 고객자본사이의 매개역할을 하는 연구모형으로 설계하였다. 이러한 연구모형의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증한 후, 지적자본의 하위구성요소인 개별자본들 사이의 관계성을 경로분석을 통해 살펴보았다. S기업에 대한 분석결과, 인적자본은 혁신자본과 구조적자본에, 혁신자본은 고객자본에 통계적 유의성을 보여 주었으며, 혁신 자본 및 구조적자본은 인적자본과 고객자본사이의 매개적 효과를 유의하게 보여주었다. 끝으로, 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 지적자본에 대한 실무적 시사점, 연구의 한계점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the relationship between the components of intellectual capital that are required for the companies as the tools of management of intellectual capital. It is also to provide utilizable fundamentals useful for design and utilization of intellectual capital measurement model, as well as to establish the base for confirmation and prediction of the change of intellectual capital according to consecutive flow of time, not a temporal one. To satisfy these aims, this study was conducted for the subjects of 187 employees from S high-tech company. Based on antecedent studies, intellectual capital was classified into human, structural, innovational and customer capital, and structural and innovational capitals were designed as the research model that will play an intermediary role between human and customer capitals. After reliability and validity of this research model were verified, the relationship between individual capitals, sub-components of intellectual capital, was examined through path analysis. Analysis of S company showed that human capital had statistical significance with innovational and structural capitals and that innovational capital had statistical significance with customer capital. It also showed that innovational and structural capitals had significant mediating effects on human and customer capitals. Finally, based on these results, the practical suggestions for intellectual capital and the limits to study were discussed.
