영문 초록

Mixed culture of diploids and triploids rainbow trout, Oncarhynchus mykiss over the second and third year from hatching, and covers the first spawning season has shown that triploids have a slower growth rate. However the growth of triploids was contineus throughout the period compared with the interrupted growth of the diploids at spawning. The survival rate at spawning and post spawning were 77.6 %, 84.2 % in diploid and 97.9 %. 96.8 % in triploid respectively. A number of biological poroblems require further research before the full potential of triploids can be realised. Nevertheless we believe the advantages in rainbow trout aquaculture coupled with the ease with which they can be produced, will ensure that triploid will playa major role in the future of fish farming.
