경남지역 초등학교 다문화교육 프로그램 분석 -상호문화교육의 관점에서-

국문 초록

2006년 교육인적자원부는「다문화가정 자녀 교육지원 대책」을 통해 “교육과정 및 교과서에 다문화 교육요소 반영”할 것을 권고한 이후 2007년 개정교육과정에서는 다문화 개념을 범교과 주제에 포함시켰으며, 2008년 교육과학기술부는 “다문화교육 기반 구축”, “교사 연수 등 다문화교육 저변 확대”를 통해 다각적인 다문화교육이 이루어졌다. 그 동안 시행된 이러한 다문화교육이 많은 긍정적 효과를 가져 온 것도 사실이나 이와 더불어 현재 많은 문제에 당면했다. 그러므로 이러한 상황에서 학교를 통한 한국 다문화교육이 과연 잘 되고 있는지 분석하고 대안을 제시하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 경남의 초등학교에서 시행되고 있는 다문화교육을 상호문화교육모형에서 진단하고 바람직한 다문화교육모형을 제시하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 제 2장에서는 경남초등학교 다문화교육이 잘 이루어지고 있는지를 분석하기 위하여 상호문화교육에 근거하여 분석기준을 설정하였다. 제 3장에서는 제 2장에서 제시된 분석기준에 의거하여 현재 경남의 초등학교에서 시행되고 있는 다문화교육을 진단하였으며, 제 4장에서는 현재 경남의 초등학교에서 시행되고 있는 다문화교육의 바람직한 방향을 제시하고 있다. 그 결과 경남 초등학교 다문화교육의 일반적인 방향, 교육내용, 교육과정구성, 교수학습방법 등을 상호문화교육의 수준에서 보여줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Since the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development recommended “reflection of multi-cultural education elements” in education curriculum and textbooks through「multi-cultural family support plan for children's education」in 2006, it made the revised education curriculum included concept of multi-cultural in the subject of general curriculum in 2007. In addition, the Ministry of Education Science and Technology in 2008 implemented various multi-cultural education through “multi-cultural education infrastructure”, “multi-cultural education base expansion including teacher training. Although the implemented multi-cultural education has brought positive results so far, in fact it faces many problems now. Therefore, in such a situation, it is necessary that we not only analyze Korea multi-cultural education conducted well but also suggest an alternative. The purpose of this study makes a diagnosis multi-cultural education being conducted at elementary school in Gyeongnam as the model of inter-cultural education and suggests the desirable model of the multi-cultural education. To achieve this objective, in the second chapter this study set standard of analysis based on intercultural education in order to analyze whether the multi-cultural education carried out well in the elementary schools in Gyeongnam. According to the analysis presented in chapter 2, in chapter 3, diagnosed a multi-cultural education currently being implemented in the elementary schools, Gyeongnam, and in chapter 4 this study suggested the desirable direction of currently being implemented multi-cultural education. The result of this study show the general direction of a multi-cultural education in elementary schools in Gyeongnam, education curriculum composition and teaching methodology from the view of intercultural education.
