국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화청소년의 우울과 비행의 발달궤적, 그리고 환경적 요인(부모지지, 교사지지, 친구지지)과 개인적 요인(자아탄력성)이 다문화청소년의 우울과 비행의 발달궤적에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 다문화청소년패널조사(MAPS) 1기 자료중 4차년도 자료부터 9차년도 자료(2014년-2019년)를 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화청소년의 우울은 비선형적으로 증가하며, 시간이 지남에 따라 더욱 완만하게 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 비행은 시간의 흐름에 따라 증가하거나 감소하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 환경적 요인 중 부모지지와 친구지지는 다문화청소년의 우울초기치를 부적으로 예측하였고, 우울의 변화율을 정적으로 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 개인적요인인 자아탄력성은 다문화청소년의 우울초기치를 부적으로 예측하였고, 우울의 변화율을 정적으로 예측하는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 환경적 요인 중 교사지지는 다문화청소년의 우울 발달궤적에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 교사지지는 다문화청소년의 비행초기치를 부적으로 예측하였고, 비행 변화율을 정적으로 예측하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의 및 제한점, 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언을 기술하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the trajectories of depression and delinquent behavior among multicultural adolescents and to identify ecological and personal factors that influence these trajectories. The data was gathered from Multicultural Adolescents Panel Survey, and the data used in this study was derived from the wave 4-9 of the survey. First, the level of depression among multicultural adolescents non-linearly and moderately increased as time went by, but the level of delinquent behavior among multicultural adolescents neither increased nor decreased over time. Second, the intercept of depression could be negatively predicted by parental support and peer support and the slope of depression could be positively predicted by parental support and peer support. Third, the intercept of depression could be negatively predicted by self-resilience and the slope of depression could be positively predicted by self-resilience. Fourth, teacher support had no significant effect on depression trajectories. Fifth, the intercept of delinquent behavior could be negatively predicted by teacher support and the slope of delinquent behavior could be positively predicted by teacher support. Based on the results of this study, implications, limitations, and the suggestions for future study were also discussed.
