유아교사의 직업정체성에 대한 인식 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 유아교사의 직업정체성에 대한 인식 탐구를 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 22년 4월 15일부터 5월 1일까지 P시와 U시의 유아교육기관에 근무하고 있는 담임교사 13명을 대상으로 개방형 설문조사와 심층면담을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 반복적 비교분석법의 귀납적 절차에 따라 분석하였다. 그 결과 유아교사의 직업정체성에 대한 인식은 생명중심의 직업, 타자를 향하는 직업, 함께 성장하는 직업, 일상을 살아가는 직업, 선택의 전문성이 요구되는 직업, 요구와 평가의 순환에 서 있는 직업, 여성 중심 조직문화인 직업, 만남의 광장인 직업으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아교사의 교육적 실천을 돕기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고, 유아교사의 건강한 직업정체성 형성을 위한 사회·문화적 인식 개선 및 관계 지원을 위한 프로그램 개발, 교육 정책의 변화 필요, 유보통합의 논의 접근 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

This study's purpose was to explore early childhood teachers' self-identified occupational identity. A survey and interviews were conducted with 13 homeroom teachers working at early childhood educational institutions in P and U from April 15 to May 1, 2022. The collected data were analyzed according to the inductive procedure of the repetitive comparative analysis method. The occupational identity perception of early childhood teachers' jobs is as follows. It is a life-oriented teaching position, a teaching position toward you, a teaching position for growing together, a teaching position that requires professionalism in everyday life, a teaching position that is in a cycle of demand and evaluation, a female-centered organizational culture, and a meeting square. This study's results provided basic data to help early childhood teachers' practice education; it provided implications for the development of programs to improve social and cultural awareness and support relationships to form a healthy occupational identity for early childhood teachers, the need to change educational policies, and the direction of the discussion.
