한국판 정신화 불균형 척도 타당화

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 Gagliardini, Gullo, Caverzasi, Boldrini, Blasi와 Colli(2018)에 의해 개발된 정신화 불균형 척도(Mentalization Imbalances Scale)를 한국판으로 타당화하는 것이다. 정신화 불균형 척도는 정신화의 차원 분류에 대한 최근의 합의에 기초하여 다차원적 평가를 가능케 한다. 또한 임상가가 내담자의 정신화 체계를 평정하는 방식으로 실시하여 기존 척도들의 자기보고식 평가 방법이 갖는 한계점을 보완할 수 있다. 이를 위해 상담자를 대상으로 정신화 불균형 척도와 성격장애 질문지를 활용하여 자신의 내담자에 대해 평정하게 한 응답자료 총 292부를 수집하였으며, 이 중 대상자 조건 일부를 충족시키지 않는 자료를 제외한 254명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 평정 시 내담자는 성격장애가 있거나 임상적으로 의미 있는 성격 문제를 가지고 있으나 최근 6개월 사이에 정신증적 증상을 보이지 않았으며 최소 5회기 이상 상담을 받았으나 상담 기간이 최대 18개월을 넘지 않은 18세 이상 내담자로 한정하였다. 문항-총점 상관이 낮은 1개 문항을 제외한 21개 문항에 대해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 원척도와 동일하게 자기에 치우친 불균형, 타인에 치우친 불균형, 인지적 불균형, 정서적 불균형, 외부적 불균형, 자동적 불균형의 6요인으로 구성되는 것으로 확인되었다. 한국판 정신화 불균형 척도의 전체 신뢰도는 .88이고, 하위척도별 신뢰도는 .55-.80로 나타났다. 준거관련타당도를 살피기 위해 각 하위요인과 경계선 성격장애 증상 및 자기애성 성격장애 증상 간의 관계를 포아송 회귀분석을 통해 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to validate the Mentalization Imbalance Scale(Gagliardini, Gullo, Caverzasi, Boldrini, Blasi, & Colli, 2018) as a Korean version. The MIS enables a multidimensional assessment based on recent consensus on the dimensional classification of mentalization. In addition, it is possible to supplement the limitations of the existing self-reporting scales by conducting it in a way that the clinician evaluates the client’s mentalization. For this purpose, a total of 292 responses of counselors evaluating their client with the mentalization imbalance scale and the personality disorder questionnaire were collected and 254 data excluding which did not satisfy some of the subject conditions were used for the analysis. The condition of client was who had a personality disorder or clinically meaningful personality problem, but did not show any psychological symptoms in the past six months, and was liited to those aged 18 or older who received at least five sessions of counseling. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis on 21 items except for one item with a low item-total score correlation, K-MIS was confirmed to consist of 6 factors consistent with the original scale: imbalance toward self, imbalance toward others, cognitive imbalance, affective imbalance, automatic imbalance, external imbalance. The overall reliability of the K-MIS was .88 and the reliability of each subscale was .55-.80. To examine criterion-related validity the relationship between each factor and the symptoms of borderline personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder was verified through Poisson regression analysis
