국문 초록

일상적 창의성은 제반 사태나 문제를 새롭고 독특한 방법으로 해결하고, 유용하고 적절한 산출물을 내는 데 필요한 역량으로, 21세기 지식기반사회에서 성인으로서의 삶을 준비하는 고등학생이 가져야 할 역량이다. 이에 본 연구는 고등학생의 일상적 창의성에 영향을 미치는 변인을 규명함으로써 일상적 창의성 함양을 위한 이론적․실천적 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 선행연구를 통해 일상적 창의성에 영향을 미치는 변인으로서 사회적 지지, 메타인지, 내재적 동기를 상정하였으며, 수도권(서울, 경기) 소재 3개 인문계 고등학교를 편의표집하여 2016년 4월 다섯째 주부터 5월 첫째 주에 걸쳐 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 고등학생 255명의 자료를 분석하여 이들 간의 구조관계를 분석한 결과, 사회적 지지가 메타인지와 내재적 동기를 매개로 일상적 창의성에 영향을 미치는 구조모형은 적합한 것으로 규명되었다. 또한 변인 간의 직·간접 관계에 대한 분석 결과, 메타인지와 내재적 동기는 일상적 창의성에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 이들 변인은 사회적 지지와 일상적 창의성 간을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 고등학생의 일상적 창의성을 함양하기 위하여, 사회적 지지, 메타인지, 내재적 동기를 촉진시키기 위한 교육적 전략이 필요함을 역설하였다.

영문 초록

Everyday creativity refers to the thoughts and activities used to solve problems in new and unique ways and to make useful and appropriate products. As high school students prepare for life as adults, everyday creativity is important for them to develop. This study therefore aimed to reveal the variables affecting everyday creativity and provide theoretical and practical implications. Based on previous studies, this study chose social support, metacognition and intrinsic motivation as the core factors that affect the everyday creativity of high school students. The authors surveyed 3 high schools in Seoul metropolitan area via convenience sampling from the 5th week of April to the 1st week of May, 2016. The collected data from 255 high school students were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The structural model that social support affects everyday creativity through metacognition and intrinsic motivation was identified appropriate. Metacognition and intrinsic motivation were found to have a significant direct effect on everyday creativity. Social support was found to have an indirect effect on everyday creativity through metacognition and intrinsic motivation. Based on the results, to improve the everyday creativity of high school students, an educational strategies to promote social support, metacognition and intrinsic motivation is needed.
