국문 초록

본 연구는 성서에 근거하여 생태계 파괴의 근본적인 원인이 기독교의 세계관에 있는지 아니면 근대 세계관에 영향을 받은 인간의 이기적 욕망에 있는지 그 원인을 고찰하여, 기독교와 생태계 파괴의 올바른 관계를 조망해보고, 생태계 회복을 위한 기독교의 올바른 실천 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 기독교 생명관은 인간 중심주의가 아닌 하나님 중심주의로 하나님께서 창조하신 피조물을 인간에게 대리인으로서 ‘대리적 위탁 책임’을 맡겼기 때문에 인간은 단지 하나님으로부터 권한을 위임받은 존재임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 생태계를 위협하고 있는 근대 세계관은 기독교 세계관의 영향을 받은 것이 아니라 타락한 인간의 이기적 욕망의 영향을 받은 것임을 알 수 있다. 생태계 회복에 대한 방안으로는 첫째, 인간의 이기적 욕망을 제한할 수 있는 규제가 필요하다. 둘째, 자연에 대한 윤리관 회복과 물질에 대한 가치관이 재정립되어야 한다. 셋째, 기독교를 통하여 지구촌 차원의 통합적 실천 운동이 이루어져야한다는 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine on the Bible whether the ecological crisis is caused by a Christianity world-view or by a selfish desire among human beings who are affected by a modern world-view. Further this paper will look for the right relationship between Christianity and the ecological crisis. And this study will present practical methods for achieving the ecosystem s recovery. The result of this study revealed that the outlook of the Christianity life is not one of anthropocentrism, but rather one of God-centrism. Human beings have no authority as creatures. Because God has simply left responsibility for the vicarious service as creatures to human beings. Consequently, these findings should be considered as suggesting that the origin of the ecological crisis was influenced by the selfishness of human beings. The practical methods for the ecosystem s recovery are summarized in the following three ways. First, there is a need for the restrictions in order to control the selfish desires of human beings. Second, people should also recover the ethics of nature and re-establish the value of material things. Finally, we must be going on integrated practice movement on the Christianity.
