동화책을 활용한 이야기 꾸미기활동이 유아의 정서인식과 친사회적행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 동화책을 활용한 이야기 꾸미기활동이 유아의 정서인식과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위하여 G시에 소재한 2개 어린이집에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 40명을 대상으로 동화책을 활용한 이야기 꾸미기활동을 하는 실험집단과 동화책 읽기활동만을 하는 비교집단으로 구성하였다. 본 연구 결과 동화책을 활용한 이야기 꾸미기활동을 한 실험집단 유아는 자기 인식, 자기조절, 타인인식, 타인조절의 정서인식과 지도성, 의사소통, 주도적 배려, 접근시도하기, 나누기, 감정이입 및 조절의 친사회적 행동에서 비교집단의 유아보다 통계적으로 의미 있는 향상을 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 유아의 정서인식과 친사회적 행동 향상을 위해 동화책을 활용한 이야기 꾸미기활동을 활발하게 운영하는 것이 의의가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine how story-making activity using fairy tale books affects young children s emotional recognition and pro-social behavior. The subjects of this study were 40 five year old children sampled from two childcare centers in G city. They were divided into an experimental group with children, who engaged in story-making activities using fairy tale books, and a control group with children, for whom fairy tale books were only read. The results of this study were as follows. First, after the story- making activity using fairy tale books, the children in the experimental group showed a significant difference from the control group in recognizing their own emotion accurately, understanding others emotions, expressing emotion clearly, and distinguishing expressed emotions, leadership, communication, initiative consideration, approaching, sharing, and empathy and emotional control. This result is considered meaningful in terms of setting desirable directions and making teaching plans to improve young children s emotional recognition and pro-social behavior in the field of early childhood education.
