국문 초록

본 연구에서는 현실치료가족상담이 어떤 선행이론이나 철학의 영향을 받아 형성되었는지, 혹은 그들과 함께 더불어 큰 충돌 없이 발전해 갈 수 있는지를 Glasser와 현실치료상담 전문가들이 제시하고 있는 다양한 개념이나 주장을 토대로 추론하여 도출하고자 하였다. 결과적으로 현실치료가족상담은 실존주의, 체계이론, 사회적 구성주의, 그리고 긍정심리학적 관점과 그 맥을 같이 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이를 토대로 현실치료가족상담의 현재와 미래의 모습을 조망해 보았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore, if any, some fundamental theories and/or philosophies which were considered as the bases of the Reality Family Therapy. Four theories and/or philosophies were found. They were existential philosophy, system theory, social constructivism, and positive psychology. Inference was made based upon the results that the Reality Family Therapy could be a very powerful approach in the areas of individual and group, and family counseling as well within brief period of time.
