국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 농산업교육패널조사 자료를 활용하여 농업인의 농가경영 특성과 농업교육참여 및 성과의 변화를 구명하는데 있었다. 분석 대상은 1~5차년도 농산업교육패널조사에 모두 응답한 농업인 1,550명이다. 연구의 주요 결론은 첫째, 농가 규모가 점차 줄어들고 있으며, 농가의 절반 정도는 외부 인력을 고용하여 활용하고 있다. 특히 농가인구 감소 및 고령화로 인해 영농 활동을 위한 인력확보에 문제가 있으며 육체적으로 힘들거나 일손부족 등의 어려움을 겪고 있다. 둘째, 농가소득의 대부분은 영농을 통한 것이나, 영농 외 소득의 비중이 점차 증가하고 있다. 또한 농가의 생활형편 개선에 대한 인식은 보통보다 낮은 수준이며, 점차 부정적으로 변화하고 있다. 셋째, 농업인에 따라 전문성 개발을 위해 투자하는 비용이나 시간에 다소 차이가 있으며, 평균적으로는 점차 줄어들고 있다. 향후 농업교육에 참여하는 농업인은 점차 줄어들고 있으며, 교육에 참여하는 이유는 주로 농업관련 기술 및 지식 등의 습득하기 위해서 이다. 넷째, 농업인에 대한 농업교육의 성과는 점차 증가하고 있다. 농업인은 자신이 참여한 농업교육에 대해 전반적으로 만족하고 있으며, 농업교육으로 인한 학습성과도 다소 높은 수준이다. 농업교육으로 인한 영농 활동변화나 농업 생산에 대한 성과는 대체로 보통수준이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristics of farmers management, participation and outcome in agriculture education using survey data of agricultural industry education panel. The subjects of the analysis were 1,550 farmers who responded to the agricultural industry education panel survey in the 1st ~ 5th year. The main conclusions of the study are as follows: First, the size of the farm is gradually decreasing, and about half of the farmers employed external labor. Especially, due to the aging population, there are problems in securing manpower for farming activities and lack of labor. Second, The farm mostly obtained its income is through farming, but the proportion of non-farming related income is gradually increasing. The perception of the improvement of living conditions of farm is lower than usual, and it is gradually changing to negative perception. Third, by farmers, there is a slight difference in cost and time to invest in professional development, and on average, it is gradually decreasing. Fourth, the outcome of agricultural education for farmers is increasing. Farmers are generally satisfied with the agricultural education they have participated in, and the learning outcomes of agricultural education are somewhat higher. Changes in farming activities or agricultural productivity due to agricultural education are generally moderate.
