국문 초록

이 연구는 최근 일자리의 변동성이 커지면서 구직과 직업 활동에 전문적인 도움을 주는 직업상담사의 중요성이 날로 증가함에 따라 이들의 전문직업성과 유관 변인을 탐색하고 변인 간 영향관계를 실증하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 선행연구 검토를 통해 직업상담사의 전문직업성과 관련이 있을 것으로 고려되는 임파워먼트, 슈퍼비전, 자기성찰을 예측 변인으로 선정하였으며, 이들 변인 간 관계를 고려하여 연구모형을 설정하였다. 이후 변인 간 구조 관계를 검증하기 위하여 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구대상은 국내 직업상담사이며, 이들을 대상으로 총 325부의 설문 응답 자료를 수집, 통계 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직업상담사의 임파워먼트, 슈퍼비전, 자기성찰은 전문직업성에 직접적인 정적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 임파워먼트는 자기성찰에 직접적인 정적 효과가 있었지만, 슈퍼비전은 자기성찰에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 직업상담사의 임파워먼트와 전문직업성의 관계에서 자기성찰은 유의한 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 기반으로 하여 직업상담사의 전문직업성 촉진을 위한 임파워먼트, 슈퍼비전 및 자기성찰 제고 전략을 제안하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 인적자원을 대상으로 전문적인 고용서비스를 제공하는 직업상담사의 전문직업성 함양과 관련한 실제적인 이해와 더불어 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 논의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is investigate the relationship among professionalism, empowerment, supervision, and self-reflection of vocational counselors. To accomplish the purpose of this study, structural model was set and analyzed. After that, the relations among variables within the model were identified. A total of 328 questionnaires gathered, and 325 sampling were used of analysis. The result of this study are as follows: Empowerment, supervision, and self-reflection showed a direct significant effect on professionalism. Also, self-reflection had an indirect significant effect on the relationship of empowerment and professionalism. Based on the results of this study,, it implies that vocational counselors should grow as professionals through empowerment, supervision, continuous self-reflection of working experience. In addition, it is necessary to develop self-reflection skills through the improvement of empowerment. This allows vocational counselors to demonstrate their expertise by improving their ability to cope with problems in the vocational counseling process through self-reflection of practical experience with motivated confidence in their vocational counseling job. The following suggestions for future research are as follows. First, a strategic and effective supervision for self-reflection is needed to enhance professionalism of vocational counselors. Second, professional educational and training institutions are needed for the training and growth of competent vocational counselors. Third, it is necessary to study the factors that improve the self-reflection ability, which is an important factor in the growth of professionalism.
