예비 미술교사 대상 PBL 강의 모델 개발 및 적용

국문 초록

PBL은 학습자가 단순히 해당 분야의 지식을 습득하는 것에 그치는 것이 아니라, 다양한 분야의 정보를 통합하도록 유도한다. 이처럼 확장적이면서 유연한 지식은 그영역에 대한 깊은 이해를 전제로 하며, 다양한 문제 상황에서의 지식의 적용을 통해서더욱 발전하게 된다. 본 논문은 PBL 수업모형의 교육적 의미와 가능성을 재조명하고, 미술교육의 맥락에서의 PBL의 가능성을 구성주의, 창의성, 통합교육의 측면에서 조망해보았다. 마지막으로 PBL 및 체험기반 학습을 기반으로 설계된 강의 운영사례 분석을 통해 실제적인 교수-학습역량을 길러줄 수 있는 강의 모델 가능성을 논의하고자한다. 예비 미술교사들은 PBL을 통해 미술교과와 관련된 지식을 습득하고, 이를 위한교재 및 교구의 활용과 제작을 학습함으로써 미술교육과 교재 및 교구와 관련한 유연한 지식, 효과적인 문제 해결 능력, 자기 주도 학습, 효과적인 협업 능력, 내재적 동기를 체험적으로 학습하는 것이다.

영문 초록

Problem-based learning(PBL) is both a teaching method and an approach to the curriculum. It consists of carefully designed problems that challenge students to use problem solving techniques, self-directed learning strategies, team participation skills, and disciplinary knowledge. In this paper, we revisited the educational significance and potential of PBL as effective teaching approach and strategies. In addition, the possibility of PBL learning in the context of art education was clearly examined. Finally, this paper tried to link the characteristics and objectives of PBL and the process to the actual learning setting. Therefore, pre-service teachers tried to explore. PBL and experience - based learning throughout the semester. The professor of the course serves as a learning facilitator, and also provides feedback as a professional colleague. Learners based on their analysis, autonomous and independent, were asked to explore and solve problems. In learning through PBL, the students decide for their own learning goals and strategies and participate in a self-directed problem-solving process. Developing and applying the results of this course, PBL can not only lead to a positive attitude in class learners, communication and was able to foster a more effective way to explore ideas and problems solving skills in motivation.
