국문 초록

본 논문은 예술적 체험을 중심으로 한 미술교과와 사회교과의 통합교육 프로그램을개발하여 초등학교 현장에 적용한 사례연구를 다룬 것으로, 이를 통해 아동의 창의성을 함양하고 조화로운 발달을 도모할 수 있는 구체적인 통합 미술교육 방안을 제안하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 미술교과와 타 교과와의 통합교육의 의의, 아동의 자유로운 표현 및 자기탐색의 중요성에 대해 고찰하고 그와 관련된 현행 2009 개정 교육과정의 주안점을 검토하였다. 이를 바탕으로 ‘선사시대 암각화’라는 주제를 중심으로한 통합 미술교육 프로그램을 개발하여 학교 현장에 적용하고 수업에 대한 흥미도와만족도 등에 대한 설문조사를 실시함으로써 수업결과를 분석하였다. 미술·연극·문학이라는 예술 간의 연계 및 사회 교과와의 통합을 기반으로 언어·비언어적인 표현을통해 자신의 내면을 표출하고 스스로에 대해 탐색할 수 있는 기회를 어린이들에게 제공한 결과, 주제와 관련된 지식을 체화시키고 미적 가치와 역사적 가치를 종합적으로탐구하는 상승효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This dissertation deals with the case study that developed an integrated program for the education of art and social science (history) based on artistic experience and applied it to elementary school students. It aims to suggest a specific plan for integrated art education that can promote the cultivation of creativity and harmonious development in children. For this, the significance of the integrated education of art with other subject areas, and the importance of free expression and self-examination were taken into consideration and the focus of the current 2009 curriculum reform was reviewed. Based on the above, an integrated art education program centered on the topic of Prehistoric Petroglyphs was developed and applied to an actual school and the results of the class were analyzed through surveys about the interest and satisfaction with the class. As a result of providing children with the opportunity to express their inner thoughts and explore about themselves through verbal and nonverbal expression based on the integration of the arts, plays, and literature, and the subject of social science, they were able to acquire knowledge related to the topic and develop an attitude that comprehensively explores artistic values and historic values. Thus, the synergistic effect of integrated education was verified.
