시각장애인을 위한 감각 경험의 시창작 교육방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 시각장애인을 대상으로 시창작 교육에 있어서 감각의 이미지화 문제를 검토하고, 이미지의 표현 교육 방안에 대한 탐구를 목적으로 하였다. 이는 시각장애인이 시쓰기에 접근할 수 있는 교육적 경로가 많지 않다는 것에서 비롯한다. 본 연구에서는 경북점자도서관에서 시행한 전국 시창작 공모전에 투고된 작품을 대상으로 하였다. 투고된 시들은 시각장애인의 시인데도, 시각적 이미지에 편중되어 있었다. 반면 청각, 후각, 촉각 등 다른 감각 이미지는 그다지 활용되고 있지 않았다. 또 감각적인 이미지가 거의 없는 경우도 많았다. 그 점에 착안하여 이 논문에서는 다감각적 접근 방식을 원용하였다. 연구 방법으로 먼저 시창작 공모전에서 수상한 작품의 지각 이미지를 분석하고, 그 결과에 따라 대안을 마련하였다. 이에 따라, 시각은 물론 후각, 청각, 미각, 근육운동감각 등 다양한 신체 감각의 활용을 주문하였고, 구체적인 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 시각에 장애가 있는 경우 일상생활에서도 다른 감각들을 적극 활용할 수밖에 없다. 그것을 시에서 적극적으로 이미지화하는 것이 다감각적 접근 방식의 적용의 의미라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 실제 시각장애인을 위한 시창작 교육 현장에서 적용 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This paper examines the problem of sensational imaging in poetry writing education for the visually impaired, and aims to explore how to express the expression of images. This is due to the lack of educational pathways for visually impaired people to access poetic writing. In this study, the works submitted to the National Poetry Competition by the Gyeongbuk Braille Library were selected. The poems submitted were focused on visual images, even though they are poems of the visually impaired. On the other hand, other sensory images such as hearing, smell, and touch are not utilized. In addition, there were many cases where there was little sensory image. With that in mind, this paper uses a multisensory approach. As a research method, we first analyzed perceptual images of works won in the Poetry Competition and prepared alternatives based on the results. As a result, we ordered the use of various body senses such as sense of smell, sense of hearing, taste, muscle movement, and suggested specific education plans. If you have a visual impairment, you have no choice but to use your other senses in your daily life. Actively imaging it in the poem means the application of a multisensory approach. It is expected to be applicable in the field of poetry creation education for the visually impaired.
