국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 미술교육프로그램을 통한 청소년들의 문화예술활동 경험의 의미를 구성주의 관점에서 발견하는 데 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 학습과정에서 참여자들의 경험을 네 가지 영역으로 구분하여 의미를 살펴보았다. 첫째, 학습자들의 문화예술이해 영역의 경험은 깨달음, 즐거움, 탐험하는 미술여행의 의미로 이해할 수 있었다. 둘째, 공동체의식 영역의 경험은 유쾌한 놀이, 어울림, 기쁨을 선사하는 선물로 해석하였다. 셋째, 창의성 영역의 경험은 신기한 미술, 문제해결능력, 흥미진진한 작가의 삶으로 의미를 찾았다. 넷째, 주체성 영역의 경험은 자아존중, 자기주도능력, 상호존중이라는 의미를 나타내었다. 이 연구를 통해 학습자들의 예술적인 다양한 경험은 예술적 감수성을 계발하고 풍부한 정서와 창조적인 능력을 길러 조화로운 인격을 형성하는 요인들을 찾을 수 있었다. 결론을 토대로 도출한 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년들에게 의미 있고 흥미를 제공하기 위해서는 학습자 스스로 조직적 활동과 여건을 마련해 줘야 한다. 둘째, 학교 문화예술교육에서 협동수업방안이 다양하게 운영되어야 한다. 셋째, 청소년들의 주체적인 문화예술활동을 위해 가정·학교·청소년시설·문화기관이 협력해 문화예술활동 강화에 나서야 한다. 넷째, 연구자들은 청소년들의 정서함양과 순화에 도움이 되는 다양한 문화예술활동 프로그램을 제공하고 프로그램 경험에 따른 청소년들의 변화를 심층적으로 연구해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand the significance of adolescents’ culture and arts activity experience through art education programs as focusing on the viewpoints of structuralism. The study categorized the experience that the learners had in such process of learning into four areas and looked into the significance of the experience in those areas. First, the learners’ experience in the field of culture-and-arts-understanding is explained with this significance of enlightenment, pleasure and exploration into the world of art. Second, the experience in the field of community spirit is described as pleasant play, harmonization and a gift to give pleasure. Third, the experience in the field of creativity invited the learners to the significance of the marvelous art experience, the problem-solving ability experience and the artists’ interesting life as well. Fourth, the experience in the field of independence came up with the significance of the self-respect experience, the self-directed learning ability experience and the mutual respect experience. The study confirmed that as for the learners’ various artistic experience, it consists of these factors to help the learners form harmonious characters by developing the learners’ artistic sensibility and improving their rich sensitivity as well as creativity.
