문화예술교육으로의 무용교육 이행에 관한 패러다임 분석 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 무용교육이 문화예술교육차원으로 이행되는 교육패러다임을 역사적 해석학적으로 고찰한 것이다. 과거 무용이 장르중심, 전문가·예술가양성교육에 중점을 두었다면 현재 문화예술교육차원에서의 무용교육은 경험중심교육으로 확장되고 있다. 이렇게 무용교육이 엘리트교육에서 대중교육으로 변화되는 시점에서 무용교육의 패러다임변화는 현재의 무용교육이 당면한 과제를 역사적으로 조망하기 시기적절하다. 이에 무용교육이 이루어지고 있는 현장이 역사적으로 어떠한 경로와 모습으로 변모되어왔는지에 대한 주목이 필요하다. 이러한 관점은 과거 무용교육이 특정 전문가집단만을 위한 교육으로 이해했던 차원에서 벗어나 모든 사회구성원을 위한 문화예술교육적 차원으로 무용교육이 이행되고 있음을 드러낼 수 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 지금까지의 무용교육을 역사적으로 재검토하여 미래방향을 제시하는 작업은 교육학적 관점에서 매우 중요한 화두이며 필요한 작업이다. 이에 본 연구는 지금까지의 무용교육을 Kuhn의 패러다임적 관점에서 고찰하고 문화예술교육적 새로운 패러다임의 가능성을 역사적 연구 접근을 통해 해석한다. 나아가 무용교육 이론과 실천의 새로운 방향성을 일상적·문화적 접근으로 모색하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study considered educational paradigm dance education is conducted from an angle of cultural artistic education historically and analytically. If dance focused on genres, experts·artists cultivating education in the past, current dance education from an angle of cultural and artistic education is expanded to experience-oriented education. At this time when dance education is changed from elite education to public education, the change of dance education’s paradigm timely takes a view of the tasks current dance education faces historically. Therefore, it’s necessary to concentrate on the historic process and changes of the field dance education is conducted. The viewpoint can show that dance education is conducted from an angle of cultural and artistic education for all of social members by getting out of understanding dance education as the education for only particular experts group in the past. In this context, the work reexamining previous dance historically and suggesting its future direction is very importance topic and is necessary from an angle of education. Therefore, this study considers previous dance education from an angle of Kuhn’s paradigm and analyzes a possibility of new paradigm of cultural and artistic education through the approach of historical study. Furthermore, it intends to seek theory of dance education and new direction of the practice by daily·cultural approach.
