현실치료를 적용한 집단미술치료가 다문화 아동의 내․외부통제성, 자율성, 또래관계에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

지역아동센터 다문화 아동 연구의 목적은 현실치료를 적용한 집단미술치료가 다문화 아동의 내․외부통제성, 자율성, 또래관계에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 대구광역시 소재한 지역아동센터 다문화 아동 17명이며 현실치료를 적용한 집단미술치료에 참여한 실험집단 9명과 집단미술치료에 참여한 비교집단 8명으로 구성하였다. 2017년 8월 10일부터 9월 27일까지 매회기 90분씩 주 2회 총 8회기를 실시하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 두 집단에게 사전, 사후 검사를 시행하였다. 측정도구는 내․외부통제성 척도, 자율성 척도, 또래관계기술 척도를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0을 활용하여 평균, 표준편차, 공분산분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현실치료를 적용한 집단미술치료가 다문화 아동의 내․외부통제성에서 집단미술치료를 한 비교집단에 비해 내부통제성이 통계적으로 유의미하게 상승하였다. 외부통제성은 실험집단이 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 감소하였다. 둘째, 현실치료를 적용한 집단미술치료가 다문화 아동의 자율성에서 집단미술치료를 한 비교집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 상승하였다. 셋째, 현실치료를 적용한 집단미술치료가 다문화 아동의 또래관계에서 집단미술치료를 한 비교집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 상승하였다. 이러한 현실치료와 집단미술치료의 유의미한 효과를 토대로 다문화 아동의 정서 기능의 활성화와 더불어 자신이 삶을 더욱 효율적으로 통제하였다. 이상의 연구 결과는 현실치료를 적용한 집단미술치료가 집단미술치료보다 다문화 아동의 내부통제성, 자율성, 또래관계 향상에 보다 효과적인 프로그램임을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a art Reality group therapy upon internal and external control, autonomy, and peer relationship of multi-cultural children. The participants of the study were 17 multi-cultural children. Nine of them were assigned into the experimental group(Reality art group therapy) and 8 were assigned into the comparative group(art group therapy). The research design used was the pretest-posttest comparative group research design. A total of 8 sessions of the programs were run, 2 sessions a week, each session for 90 minutes. The instruments used were the scales for internal and external control, autonomy, and peer relationship skill. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and covariance of the SPSS 22.0. The results of the study were as follows. First, the experimental group showed a significantly higher increase in internal control than the comparative group. With respect to external control the experimental group showed more reduction than the comparative group. Second, the experimental group showed a significantly higher increase in autonomy than the comparative group. Third, the experimental group showed a significantly higher increase in peer relationship than the comparative group. The Reality art group therapy was found to be able to improve emotional function in multicultural children who have various problems, to search for their own behavior and to control themselves. In addition, it was also found that would be possible to reduce the external controllability to control others or environment in order to satisfy the wind. Thus, this study was effective in controlling multicultural children s life effectively by making their actions more responsive to their choices and choices. The results of the study showed that the group art therapy program using reality therapy was a more effective one than the group art therapy only program in improving the inner control, autonomy, and peer relationships of multi-cultural children.
